Passivated magnesium is used for desulfurization in steel production, with low slag content and good desulfurization effect.

1. The appearance is silver gray spherical or elliptical spherical coating particles, with a solid and sufficient passivation
protection layer on the surface, and it is not easy to fall off during transportation.
2. Metal magnesium content ≥ 92%, but not more than 94%.
3. The diameter of spherical or elliptical spheres is 0.5-1.6mm.
4. Needle shaped particles<5% (needle shaped particles have a shape similar to tadpole shape).
5. The passivator does not contain water (including Water of crystallization).
6. Loose density (bulk density): 0.98-1.10g/cm3.
7. Rest angle: below 27.8 °.
8. Self ignition point: above 700 ℃.
9. Flame retardant time: 15-20 seconds.
10. Chloride ion content: ≤ 5%.
11. The main component of dissolved salt in passivation layer is sodium chloride, as well as Potassium chloride, Magnesium chloride, Barium chloride, etc.

Particle size 0.2-1.2cm as customer requirement is ok
